"Not" a typical Tip Sheet, the HKRF's Complete Tips Package is a full application that includes a number of features to help in the analysis and decision making of your Hong Kong Racing Selections.

This is currently a Beta Version so there will be some modifications before the start of next season.

Description of Features :

For this product to be used to its FULL power and functionality, you will be required to have Excel© Software on your computer. There will be a PDF & HTML version, but this will limited capabilities with only essential information displayed.

Each Race : has its own Worksheet for easy navigation. To move from one race to another, simply click on the representative worksheet (TAB) at the bottom of each page.

Horse Order : In the top section of each worksheet, Horses are listed in preference order. This order has been determined by a computer model using various analysis factors.

Projected Odds : Included for each race is the HKRF's suggested Odds. This factor should assist you in evaluating value of a horse, when compared to actual prices on race day.

Internal Links : There are 2 links in the top part of the worksheet which are unique to our Hong Kong Racing Form products - the Speed Maps and the Cross Pivot Tables.

Speed Maps : This feature replaces traditional Past Performance presentations in favour of a powerful representation made possible by the use of a computer. This tool allows you to compare horses, in a given race, based on various patterns. By using the SORT and FILTERS of Excel© you are able to re-arrange the various racing variables to better analyze the race. The presentation is color-coded to quickly identify positive and negative trends. Speed Maps are based on the most recent 10 starts which, if collected over time, can give you a complete data history for each horse.

Cross Pivot Tables : This application quickly identifies trends of 7 different variables. This feature gives the user a perspective on Course & Distance, Jockeys, Ratings, Going, Days Between Starts, Body Weights and Weight Carried.

External Links : On each page, there are several Hyperlinks to take you to more detailed information. The Race Card in Cell D6 will take you to the Hong Kong Jockey Club's (HKJC) Web Site for that particular race. Clicking on a Horse Name in the top part of the worksheet will take you to the HKJC's Web Site for that particular horse.

Bottom Section of Worksheet : The HKRF's TIPS Package uses Statistics to assess each horse racing. This analysis is based on the past 5 years of racing data. It gives the user the added information of Win Strike Rates for 7 variables. It is sorted by the total positives in descending order. It is color-coded with positive factors displayed in Red.
